If I switch ISPs and get a new email address, how does mail addressed to my old address get to me?

I am switching from ATT dsl to a Comcast cable package. I am assuming that att will eliminate my 'sbcglobal.Net' address, and I will get a new '@comcast. Net' address.

Unfortunately Yes While both are active you could possibly forward the mail from ATT to Comcast but once your account is removed, well its removed. You might try a service such as GMail, Yahoo,... that isn't tied to your specific ISP and would hence be portable. Hope this helps in some way..
