Well actually a lot of the law is designed to vilify blacks, and special groups have grown up around funding appeals for people who are obviously innocent but have been in jail for years because they have no money to protect their rights. This happens to blacks, deportees, and anyone else deemed "undesirable" in the WASP version of USA. I used to be proud of my ethnic heritage, but now I'm scared to mention it, ever since 911, and literally people went overnight from "oh cool" to turning away silently if I do mention it.
If I get far enough south in the USA, my Italian skin will be interpreted as "Hispanic" and I've been made very uncomfortable in nice restaurants and resorts. That never happened before 911. There is a backlash, which is crazy in a country formed by Immigrants and whose natives are darker than "Hispanics."
I think people are just nuts, and we all need to get along. White kids should be made to work with black people until they get used to them. Families should refrain from perpetuating the bullsh+t.
Jokes aren't funny anymore, grow up, parents. But depending where you live in the USA, it might be the case that black people purposely try to wig out the whites, which everyone figures out after the first time and resents. So resentments mount (on both sides).... then something like this happens and everyone gets their spleen out for a good vent.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
