Yes, of course. The webserver where the site will be published must have PHP installed, otherwise the PHP pages will not work!

It wouldnt be necessary to have PHP configured. Just installed. The default configuration will work as well.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
