I wouldn't be opposed to that at all, but I highly doubt it will happen. Shawn Michaels seems to be, so far at least, the one superstar in the history of the WWE who has actually taken his promise to "retire" seriously. I could be wrong, but I don't think the WWE will mess with that...yet.
At the same time, I firmly believe Michaels will indeed be involved in a Wrestlemania angle in some shape or fashion. While there are a few matches I would prefer to see ahead of an Undertaker/Triple H rematch, I'm guessing at this point that HBK will be the special guest referee. That adds something different to the match (like the retirement angle did to the HBK/Undertaker match a couple years ago) and it keeps Shawn involved, which is always good to see.
As for Shawn eventually coming out of retirement, I think one day it'll happen, yes. He's not that old, and the entire concept of "retirement" in pro wrestling has always been fluid at best. He doesn't need to come back, but I think if he wants to, there will always be a place for him in the WWE.
BQ: I would say Triple H. The WWE is really trying hard to reboot Kane at the moment, but it seems to be having mixed results at best. The last Undertaker/Kane feud couldn't have bombed more, so I wouldn't be surprised if the WWE is reluctant to revisit it, especially at Wrestlemania.
They've really made a concentrated effort in recent years to make The Streak as epic as possible, and that fits Triple H more than Kane. BQ2: I don't think he's going anywhere anytime soon. Despite the online fans losing their minds over him, he actually seems to be effective in his role.
He's got a bit of Vickie Guerrero and Mike Adamle in him as a performer, and the fans have made it very clear over the years that they really react to that type of villain. He works well with Triple H, CM Punk and John Cena, the top three heroes on RAW, so I would think he'll stay where he is for some time to come. BQ3: Zach Ryder.
I know that he's already gone after Ryder and put him on the shelf, but I think with Cena clearly going to move on to The Rock following Elimination Chamber, Ryder will make his return and go full throttle after Kane heading into Wrestlemania. Now that his United States Championship chase has finished, Ryder needs something big to maintain the momentum he's built up and keep up the pace he's set for himself. This is a big test for him in the coming months.
Is he just a flash in the pan, like we've seen so many times before, or does he really have what it takes to make a real mark? We'll see.
I'd like to see those two matches as much as the next guy, but let's not forget one very important thing. Taker chose Triple H, not the other way around. Nobody says "no" to The Undertaker.
BQ: Triple H. Simply because last year Taker did not get the decisive victory he usually gets, and wants. It was a 30-minute war that could have gone either way right up until the final seconds.
Taker squeaked out a desperation win and then had to be carried out of the arena. Triple H WALKED away after the battle. Taker wants to "fix" that by getting the decisive victory this year he didn't get last year.
BQ2: Nah, he'll be around for a while longer. Everybody hates him and he does get pretty good reactions from the live fans, and people talk about him on the internet. We hate him, but he's good for business as the RAW GM.
BQ3: Sheamus (if he wins a world title at WM). No particular reason other than Sheamus doesn't have a bad attitude, isn't "embracing the hate", and a win or two over Kane will help Sheamus' reputation and credibility (as a world champ).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
