If Republicans are against 'wasteful spending' then why does AZ keep electing Sheriff Joe Arpaio?

Republicans spend a whole lot of money doing things that are unconstitutional and thinking it's wonderful that they are fighting for things that are unconstitutional at the same time they tell us they are the party for freedom. Arpaio's racial profiling is shameful, that Republicans support his arrogance is shameful, that they can't see for their own blindness is just sad. It cost us forty million to find out Clinton got a BJ.

And the total costs of the restrictive laws they are now using to limit abortions, some five hundred and twelve regulations, waiting periods, special standards and needed hospital use agreements are being fought in courts all over the country. More millions to salve their base, when the majority of the country is in favor of abortion in the first three months at least, and for medical reasons past that point. But they don't care about freedom then.

Maybe if they didn't have access to unlimited funding from billionaires taxpayers wouldn't have to pay for these unconstitutional forays into the legal realm.

There is zero mention of whether "compliance costs" are already included in the regular law enforcement budget and simply repurposed money. LOL Since the article is a hit piece on Arpaio I think the entire story isn't being told. As has been already mentioned it is the judge that is the culprit, Joe is just doing his job.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
