If restaurants have the right to prohibit smoking shouldnt they also have a right to allow concealed carry permit holdrs?

In most cases, it is not the restaurant that is banning smoking; it's the state, county, or city. It's the same with the carrying of guns.

Actually, in my state, restaurants no longer has the right to ALLOW smoking. Laws have been passed to prohibit smoking almost everywhere. The thing about guns is that no one dares to hold up a restaurant if they know the people inside will be carrying.

That's why donut shops are hardly ever robbed - they give cops free coffee, and only an idiot (and it's happened) will hold up a donut shop filled with cops! .

If the state prohibits something, a restaurant cannot allow it in defiance of the prohibition. However, if a state permits somethign, a restaurant can still prohibit it. (note that if the state REQUIRES something, the restaurant cannot make it optional, I.E.Shirts and shoes) .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
