If saudi arabia is our ally, why are they funding ISIS and is ISIS the same as Al-Qaida?

The USA funded the origins of al-Qaeda and the origins of a less jihadist IS. They do not anymore.

No the U.S. does not fund them. The world funds them through paying kidnapping ransoms, extortionists of oil fields, plus the people joining are giving them funding.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
