I would not describe someone taking their own life as "having guts. " Suicide, like murder, is a result of something gone wrong in the thought processes of a person. It may be despair, depression, mental illness, anger....a myriad of things but in the end the person is not thinking logically because logical thinking people do not commit murder or suicide.
The reference to the "coward's way out" simply indicates that the person was more willing to take their own life than face the problems or preceived problems of their life. Here again, I don't think it is a fair description because I don't feel the person committing the act is applying any sound logic to arrive at a decision...he/she is not electing anything...they are acting simply on emotion which is running out of control. WB.
Some people believe that a person who commits suicide is backing out of life and not finding a solution for their problems. People do not understand that depression is an illness and when someone commits suicide they actually feel like they are doing everyone a favor. A person who is that depressed does not think rationally.
They think they are actually doing the right thing and no longer dragging everyone else down. I am not saying suicide is the right decision; I am just saying depression is an illness and clouds a person's way of thinking.
Solving and facing your problems in life is considered more difficult than killing yourself.
They call it that because they see suicide as "running away" from their problems. I'm against suicide, but I don't necessarily think it's as cowardly as they say. Everyone has tough times in their lives that need to be dealt with, but some problems can't be fixed.
Terminal diseases are a good example. Some people would rather end it on their own terms than suffer in a hospital bed for the last few months. Their death would be sad either way, but I wouldn't consider it 'cowardly' in a situation like that.
You don't need guts to commit suicide, you need selfishness. I've never heard it described as having guts and it is the cowards way out. The only time a person can justify suicide is if they are dying anyway, which in my opinion is the exception to the rule.
I'm against suicide, their are weak people without any god ,I think that it is an coward act.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
