If the best videogame in the world was only available in schools in a bilingual alien-human language study could that improve our literacy?

It would have to be an RPG to be effective. You know, lots of text that requires reading 1) to navigate menus, 2) to progress the story, 3) to understand quest objectives. Like pirate_ said, most other games don't actually require much reading.

I even usually skip through cutscenes unless they're visually impressive. PS: I don't understand the necessity of the alien part.

In the other language maybe. But most video games are similar, so I wouldn't even try to read, I would just get around without knowing what anything did. It's the best video game ever, shouldn't be hard to play it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
