In a humans view yes In gods view no The earth is hundereds of millions of years old. 5000 years is really just a small fraction of time and history but to us humans who only like around 85 years on average. That's 50 generations.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
