If you're inside 42nd St-Port Authority Bus Terminal (A)(C)(E) side, on north end of complex will have exit to 44th St/8th Av and use stairs that going to SW or NW corner and walk few blocks west to 11th Av. If you're at Times Sq-42nd St, there's exit by 42nd St Shuttle platform at Track 4 that leads you to 43rd St/Broadway by NYPD, where you could walk west on 43rd st to 11th Av. If you're inside Port Authority Bus Terminal, exit is only available through South Wing at 9th Av or toward 41st St, and walk west to 11th Av, and make right and walk to 44th St.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
