If we can cause and reverse global warming, at what temperature should we maintain the Eart?

There is no stable Temperature|temperature here on earth unfortunately, In fact if we were to to look at the average temperature over Earth|earths history from the start of life to now we would see that in fact we are currently far above the mean temperature,as we are in a period known as Interglacial. This means the natural state for most of the planet is far colder than we currently enjoy. Even if we did manage to control the temperature in the short term fluctuations in our orbit and the Sun|suns output would mean temperatures would still fluctuate, so we really must just leave well alone and just adapt to whatever the climate brings.

74 is a little cold. I say 78 F. This will allow for a cool tropic breeze to be truly the perfect temperature.

This is the average Winter|winter temp in Hawaii.

It is pretty certain that we humans can cause global warming, however, given our current situation, we are almost totally unable to reverse the effects of Global Warming|global warming. However, if we could change Earth|Earth's temperature through global warming, we shouldn't. While it might might benefit a small portion of the population, it could hurt the rest greatly.

For example, during the last ice age, the average temperature of the Earth was only 4-9 degrees lower than the average temperature now. This means that the Earth is very attuned to the slight changes in the temperature and can change in very unexpected ways. Also if we were to change the temperature up instead of down, it would most likely increase the strength of all tropical storms and hurricanes as it warmed up the water. So, either way, whether you believe we can reverse global warming, it would be in the best interests of all to simply leave the Earth's temperature where it is.

74 Degrees Farenheit because this is standard room temperature :).

If there are millions of people around the world in coastal cities who would lose their homes, due to rising sea levels, due to increased glacial melt, I would call that such of a temperature too warm. I saw an article today even on Bangkok|Bangok's situation. It's quite dire if these predictions are true.

I think that a small benefit to some people in colder areas, that Global Warming|global warming would bring, is not worth the millions who'd be displaced by warmer temperatures.

I'll set my Earthostat to 70 degrees. Warmer than that and you're likely to overheat exercising.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
