If you blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, do Christians stop trying to convert you?

Like many, I had that infection as a child, so now I have an immunity.

Nobody 'catches' the Holy Spirit, like it was some sort of infection! He decides who to deal with and when to deal with them, and I have often related on here two people I worked with who were both atheists - until God broke through into their understanding (via the Holy Spirit). Now they are Christians, but nobody spoke to them, or dragged them along to church, or bashed them with a Bible.

Their different experiences were both the initiative of the Holy Spirit. When God takes the initiative, things happen. I'm not unduly concerned about atheists for that reason.

If their hearts are sincere before God, and He calls them to faith, they will come to faith. The rest can just bluster on, or rage and rant on this site. It is to no avail.

They are only convincing themselves. But it's always good to present atheists with the gospel - the good news about Jesus Christ - though it's a waste of time arguing with them. Their eyes of spiritual understanding are blinded and only a miracle from God can change that.

But He's in the business of miracles, and of bringing to spiritual life the spiritually dead! Consider the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel! Our God is in control of the whole plan of salvation and the saving of souls.

Christians are just to be willing to speak out and to live for Christ, no matter how the atheists mock us. We do not judge atheists as 'unworthy' of hearing the gospel. If they will listen, we will share it with them, and then the Holy Spirit will either convince them - or He won't.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
