1982 Topps Traded Yes I'm a big Cal Ripken, Jr. fan. And with the lower print run on this set it makes for a nice collectible. My second choice would be my 1980 Topps set because it was the first set I collected by hand, not factory set.

Both of these have sentimental value larger than anything I could sell them for. Sources: My Opinion BLU's Recommendations Topps baseball cards: The complete picture collection, a 35 year history, 1951-1985 Amazon List Price: $75.00 Used from: $75.00 25 Different 1980 Topps Baseball Cards .

2000 Topps Atlanta Braves MLB Team Set To be honest, I have no clue how valuable this set is. It's the personal meaning that makes this one special to me. Back when he was just another kid dreaming of making it big in baseball, a career the Vietnam War denied his father Larry Jones, Chipper Jones sat in my middle school classroom. It was obvious from day one that this kid was special, he was pitching on the combo middle-high school's baseball team in the 7th grade, but even then, you never quite expect a kid you've taught to go on to make $13 million plus a year and become a standout star.

Even better, the math teacher in the portable next to me was none ofther than Larry Jones, Chipper's father. S mother was an athlete, too, tho' a horsewoman, not a player on a sport's team, so Chipper had good genes, but watching Larry help keep him grounded and focused was an eye-opener. When Chipper left home a couple years later to attended Jacksonville Bowles HS, we all followed his HS career closely.

It was always a delight to have him drop in and visit his old classmates, one of whom in many ways is his guide to life. Now, true, the girls swooned, but, still, he was a star in the making and even this ol' lady teacher, at least to Chipper and his peers, enjoyed knowing there was more to come. I only collect Braves cards, I might note, but this set is special.

It was given to me by Chipper himself. I just went and pulled up a ad for the very set, which resides in a "treasure box" safe, to refresh my memory of whose cards are there. It says, "The 2006 Topps Atlanta Braves MLB Team Set contains 26 Atlanta Braves baseball cards including Star Players like Chipper Jones, John Smoltz, Andruw Jones, Brian Jordan, Edgar Renteria and Tim Hudson. Collecting MLB baseball cards of your favorite team is fun and great way to keep track of all your favorite players.

All cards in the set are listed below.25 Chipper Jones - 67 Brian Jordan - 92 Lance Cormier - 120 Edgar Renteria - 148 John Thomson - 214 Wilson Betemit - 221 Adam LaRoche - 239 Kyle Davies - 241 John Smoltz - 257 Andruw Jones Gold Glove - 267 Bobby Cox - 305 Chuck James - 318 Brayan Pena - 328 M. Giles / C. Jones Team Stars - 333 Ryan Langerhans - 345 Andruw Jones - 362 Brian McCann - 369 Mike Hampton - 380 Marcus Giles - 388 Tim Hudson - 438 Todd Pratt - 445 Jeff Francoeur - 482 Chris Reitsma - 584 Jorge Sosa - 601 Atlanta Braves Team Card - 619 Joey Devine" Hearing stories from Chipper's mouths about these people, his teammates, helped make them real to me and I wouldn't ake any amount of money in the world for this set.

Oh, did I mention that ALL the cards were signed when he gave it to me, not just his? Sources: Happy memories .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
