I would choose the talent of godlike eloquence. Then, if the world weren't like I felt it should be (a frustration I'm sure all of us feel from time to time), I could just use my silver-tongue to convince people to change it. The eloquent person can raise an army without too much trouble.

But they can also quite as easily disband an army. An eloquent person can convince people to abandon greed and hate and a whole mess of other nasty emotions, and an eloquent person can convince people to work together in cooperation and mutual-respect. And most importantly, an eloquent person can make other eloquent people.Yup.

Eloquence is talent of talents. I wish I had that particular talent.

I'd choose a talent for seeing projects through to their finish. Sounds like a pretty lackluster talent, though? But it's my firm belief that there are lots and lots of talented people out there.

The world is overflowing with them. But if they can't finish projects, their talents are wasted, and nobody will ever get to see or hear or experience what they'd do or create. If I had this talent, it wouldn't matter what else I was good at.

Maybe I wasn't naturally born good at it, but through practice, I gained skill. What it is, really, is the skill to see the talent through to where it can influence people. And that, to me, is more important than anything.

As a child I have always dreamed of learning how to play the piano. Since there were no available piano lessons available within our area and the purchase of an actual piano would have exceeded my family’s budget, my parents presented me with a keyboard and lessons for my 10th birthday. I loved it, but eventually stopped practicing for my lessons and tried playing songs that I personally enjoyed.

Unfortunately, my stepdad decided that if I were not committed enough to practice for my keyboard lessons he would stop taking me (which is exactly what happened). Today, I still wish I could have learned to play the piano (or at the very least that I would have followed through and stuck with my keyboard lessons, since they would have likely prepared me somewhat for the finger work necessary to play the piano one day). I love listening to simple piano pieces and enjoy music by Alicia Keys, because many of her songs are accompanied by her playing the piano.

Thus, if I could choose one talent today that was not related to fame or fortune, I would choose to be able to play the piano with grace and elegance.

It's completely indulgent and somewhat mundane, but I wish I could read music. It's a skill I've never been quite able to master, perhaps it is talent I lack. I take a lot of personal and private enjoyment from music, and I love to share in music making.

But, beside rhythm instruments, I'm somewhat useless at it. It's always felt like a great personal tragedy to be so rotten at something I enjoy so much. It's strange.

I like to eat, so I learn about cooking. I like style, so I learn fabric arts like sewing and weaving. I like music, but I look at a piece of sheet music and my mind empties out my ears.In the spirit of buying yourself a birthday present (and self-improvement, of course) I choose, reading music.

If I could choose my talent then I'd love to choose being a dancer. I love dancesport very much but I'm only good at watching it. I wish I were a skillful dancesport dancer. It must be a good feeling... youtube.com/watch?v=cPFopxqwA1s.

I would choose to be able to dance. My husband loves to dance and I'm like a mannequin when it comes to dancing. We go out dancing every year for my birthday and I dread it every year.

LOL You shouldn't dread your birthday, but he has a lot of fun and he gets to see old friends so I don't say anything.

I'm gonna assume that "talents" do not include super human feats so I'll go with being able to sing well. I've always felt that my voice is too awkward, even when just talking regularly. I Would love to be able to serenade the girl that holds a special place in my heart....without sounding like a dying cat.

I would choose a talent that could relax myself and other people. I think it would be very helpful to lead others in meditation or meditative dance, much the way the character Athena does in "The Witch of Portobello" by Paulo Coelho. Even though Athena helps people and also learns from them, others don't understand her gift and begin to persecute her.

I believe that the most noble, worthy, and valuable gifts (even material ones) come with responsibility and risk.

If there is a next life, I must insist upon coming back as a very talented and skilled ice dancing partner. youtube.com/watch?v=ewIqfjh1qvY youtube.com/watch?v=qb45sZoq5vw youtube.com/watch?v=SqVzf2_kad8.

I would choose the talent of coming up with the formula for peace on earth. This would require everyone to be prosperous and no one going hungry.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
