My Grandmother She passed away 20 years ago and I still miss her.( I am 55 now) She and I were kindered souls. We were both rebels in our time. I once lost a job ( I was 21 ) and came home to brake the news to my Mom that I had lost still another job.To find that my Grandma (she was 82 at the time) was home alone.

I told her what had happen and she and I desided to go on a roadtrip with just her SS check and my severence pay. We did not pack anything just got in my car ( a 71 Vega with 75000 miles on it) and left a note on the kitchen table that we would call collect every night and be home when we had used half of our money, so we would have half our money to come home on. We did not even have a map.

We were gone for three weeks. My Parents went nuts! I am lucky that my Children were not like me.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
