Georgetown University is the entity most directly affected by Ms. Fluke’s request that the school cover insurance for contraception. The school does not agree with her viewpoint.
This is what Georgetown University’s President John DeGioia had to say about Sandra Fluke’s testimony: "She was respectful, sincere, and spoke with conviction," and that "She provided a model of civil discourse. This expression of conscience was in the tradition of the deepest values we share as a people." He further stated that Rush’s attacks on Sandra Fluke, "can only be described as misogynistic, vitriolic, and a misrepresentation of the position of our student."
Palin is a politician and a public figure who has said many unwarranted and mean things about other people. Fluke is a student who spoke before Congress on the issue of insurance coverage for contraception. Trying to distract, deflect and compare is cowardly.
Dems are not held accountable and you know it. Don't pretend to be naive. They made a movie about assasinating Bush, used vulgar terms to describe Bush, called tea party members disgusting derogatory names, called Laura Ingraham a slut, wished death on Cheney's grandson and no one said a thing.
They are like radical muslims. They are not held accountable for their actions. Scott B.
Fluke put herself in the spotlight when she went to congress and testified and bastardized facts while complaining that she cannot afford birth control. She was not some private citizens like Joe the Plumber who dared to question O at a campaign stop. Again, it is the double standard.
IT should never be okay to use such vulgar language to refer to a woman.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
