If you were to name your child from a novel you've read, the novel, the name and the reason?

This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti (He also authored the sequel - Piercing the Darkness). The name I would use for my child would be TAL - Tal was the Commander of the Angelic Host in the Novel and his wisdom and commitment are attributes I desire in any offspring of mine not to talk of his strength.

I did this. One of my sons has the middle name Eden, the name of a ship in the Peter Matthiessen novel Far Tortuga. I was reading the book when he was born.It took a month to find a first name, and Eden had the right cadence for a middle name.

Matthias. It is a name from the Red Wall Series. Matthias was a farm mouse turned warrior.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
