I can understand your depression as it would be very hard to be gay in your country. The first thing is that generally adults are more mature than teenagers and likely you would find friendly adults who would treat you very differently from the way you were treated at school. Just because you were teased badly as a teenager doesn't mean that adults will treat you badly.
It all depends whether you can hide your gay side so they don't suspect. Can you get further schooling as an adult to catch up on your education, as education can be the answer to your problem. Perhaps it could lead to a job overseas where you can be much more relaxed and open to others gays.
Another option is to approach overseas embassies and ask if you can seek asylum on the grounds that your life as a gay man threatens to risk your very existence due to the homophobic laws of your country which can imprison or put you to death for being the man you must be. Some countries will only accept a person's claim for refugee status if they are living outside their country of origin as they can no longer live safely within their own country. You can make contact with organizations like the red cross and see if they can help.
Don't give up hope on life yet as there are possibilities that if you get asylum in a gay friendly country you can have a good and happy life as a gay man. Good luck.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
