If your ancestry is 3/4 ' white ' and 1/4 ' black ' why are you legally considered black?

I don't know what % of heritage must be African/black for those, but there probably is a percentage for each, which would be the source of the legality in each case.

Legalities -- statutory law -- is totally arbitrary. There is no REASON; it is just that some group got a law to their liking passed, probably over the objections of one or more other groups. Why else would the "law" be different from one town, city, state/province/country?

Answer: "The law is an ass"The phrase "The law is an ass" originates in Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist, when the character Mr. Bumble is informed that "the law supposes that your wife acts under your direction". Mr. Bumble replies "If the law supposes that… the law is a sic ass—a idiot. If that’s the eye of the law, the law is a bachelor; and the worst I wish the law is that his eye may be opened by experience—by experience."en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coverture.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
