If your friend said your child had destroyed something while visiting her house, how would you address it with your child?

I think this will depend on the age of the child and their ability to comprehend the result and consequences of their actions. Obviously you can make a child of almost any age apologize but even so if that child is not old enough to understand it's not valid. If the child is old enough to "know" better and understand that what he/she did then have the child apologize.

But in the end it's your responsibility to replace or repair the damage. Children must have some type of consequence (giving up a costly item to help pay for damages, losing privileges etc. ) Too many times parents take the consequences and children don't learn from their own mistakes. We as society have developed a generation of children who don't have to own up to their responsibilities and suffer consequences of actions.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
