I'll be spending a few days in Reno, Nevada this May. Can anyone recommend interesting things to do in and around Reno? I'm not really interested in gambling and we'll have our three year old with us.

1 Lake Tahoe, but it can get cold. Make sure you have windbreaker jackets. Heavenly Valley has a gondola from near the stateline that goes up the mountain, There's snowplay and food facilities.
But it is expensive. There is a boat for taking rides across the lake in the summer. I don't know if it is operating yet.
There are beaches but it is too cold to swim. There should still be snow on the mountains in May. Here is the link to Heavenly Valley. It has info about lake Tahoe.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
