It was enough for us to beat England in England in all 3 formats :) and to draw a series in Abudabi last year without getting whitewashed like England and Australia on a serious note Kaushal is playing only his 2 nd series and in a year or two he will be one of the leading spinners in the world (those stats may have improved after yesterday`s 5wkt haul) Herath has been the best spinner in the world but he is past his prime it seems like..This series will decide his fate Prasad and Pradeep are lot better than stats suggest..They are no Dale steyn but can do a job...Prasad was brilliant during last 2 years...Pradeep started playing leather ball cricket only few years back! But he is improving and I think he is decent bowler Dushmath Cheemara who bowls at around 150 will be back for the next match and he is a real find. Hope he stays fit At the moment SL`s problem is batting..But players like Thirimanne, chandimal and dimuth are going to come real good in near future and thats why we are persisting with them..The problem for SL is that our first class structure is nt good so players take time to mature..atm we are struggling a bit but they will be back soon!
Mostly its people who havet played much or people with limited knowledge about the game that goes much in to stats and come in to stupid conclusions..I think SL will struggle for few months but they ll be fine.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
