You need to have someone pull up attendance policy for you. Here in US, walmart policy has no mention of DR notes at all. It absolutely doesn't matter.
There are things that are excused, jury dury, natural disaster, etc, and things that are not, like being sick, car trouble, or having something going on with a child. Sickness is unexcused anyways, so a DR note to prove you were sick is irrelevant. Is it possible that they were requesting paperwork for your LOA for when the baby comes?
I know that for pregnancy, your doctor can fill out some papers verifying you are pregnant, etc, and it allows you, if approved, to have a different kind of leave, where as long as your call outs are related to the pregnancy that it will not count against your attendance.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
