No, you can not sell the car with out the title. You need to sign the title over to the new buyer. Without the title, you can't complete the transaction nor can the Motor Vehicle Administration register the car in the new buyers name.

Yes it is legal. It is possible to be on the financing but not on the title. Usually, if the financing is through the dealer, the dealer usually asks if you want the ownership in both names.

You husband must have answered, no, just his name. But, you can have your name added to the title. If you can find the title, go to the motor vehicle administration and ask for a form to have both names on the title.

You will have to sign the form and so will your husband, but if he won't sign, then you will know exactly where you stand.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
