I'm buying a folding bike for fitness and casual riding. Should I get one with 20" wheels or 26"? I'm not going to be doing any mountain biking or serious road trips ... just an hour or two a week in the park.
What are the downsides of the 20" wheels? Anyone have any experience with Dahon bikes? Asked by arttatum 48 months ago Similar questions: buying folding bike fitness casual riding 20 wheels 26 Local > United States > New York City - NY.

Dahon or Friday Dahon is a good make. So is Bike Friday. Here is a 26" Dahon model that I would buy, the $450 Jack: It is a full-sized model with 26" rims.It would ride like a regular mountain bike when set up, and would offer the most versatility - all for a reasonable price.
The nice thing about a 26" model is that it rides just like a normal bike. A 20" model would not handle as well, and would be less stable over uneven surfaces. The smaller wheel diameter also makes the ride more punishing, and it's harder to get tubes and tires for it.
You can get 26" tubes and tires anywhere, and there is a greater variety available. Of course, with a 20" model, you get a smaller footprint when the bike is folded, so it's easier to take with you when traveling. It would depend on what's most important to you. The Bike Friday line is popular with air travelers, because their bikes come in a lot of configurations - for example, you can get a drop-handlebar road bike that knocks down and folds into a standard suitcase.
They are, however, more expensive than Dahon - much more so, in some cases - so you would get one of them only if you're really serious. Sources: Dahon, Bike Friday.
I am trying to buy a new bike for city riding. I was wondering if anyone had any good brand recomendations? " "Why has Walmart stayed out of New York City, NY?" "What is the average age a child starts riding a two-wheel bike without training wheels?
" "what is the best way to get used to riding a bike again? " "Why are there no Friendly's restaurants in New York City, NY?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
