The brightness control in GLQuake has no effect. The brightness control in Quake2 does work but it is dependent on the gamma settings which are setup in the Windows Display Preoperties tab for the 3D card. Under no circumstances should you ever set the brightness slider to maximum (the extreme right position) in Quake2's video settings as this will cause the colors to be distorted.
When the gamma or brightness is set too high, the color palettes of dark textures will be distorted. These may appear as horizontal lines in dark textures, and rainbow or green and purple color shifts in other textures. There is a utility that increases the brightness in both Quake1 and 2 called IDGamma.
It's particularly helpful on NVidia chipset video cards. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
