I'm going to Europe for 3 months. Does anyone know where and when I should convert my dollars into Euros?

I haven't been to Europe in a few years, but an alternative that I found worked really well was to use ATMs in Europe. Even though you pay a fee, it was less that exchanges. And if you do it as you go, you won't have to carry around a load of cash.

Actually, dollars are still accepted almost everywhere so I wouldn't advice you to change all the cash you want to take there. Credit cards are also widely accepted. If you have to change your dollars and you are in a city you don't know much, go to the bank.

You can keep track of the exchange rate in yahoo finances and see the projection. Remember not all of Europe uses Euros and beware of fake currency. Here is how to spot fake Euros: news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/3244737.stm.

There shouldn't be that much change between then and now. I would do it now so that I don't have to worry about doing it then.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
