I'm looking for 2 children's horse books, each have 3 short stories in them, written in the style of Black Beauty The books were written in same style and set in the same era (late 1800s, early 1900s England) as Black Beauty. They are autobiographical stories that are told from the point of view of the horse. One story was about a mare who wanted a foal, another was about a racehorse who found himself a highwayman's mount.
