I am definitely amateur. I want to take pictures of my kids, their sports, their activities. I want to be able to take indoor shots.
Not as many scenery shots. Asked by jav 30 months ago Similar questions: DSLR camera advice buy Arts > Photography.
As general guidelines... From what you say you'd like to shoot, you will need a camera system which will allow you to change lenses, have a fast focusing system and which has a hot shoe for a flash unit. Start by looking at Canon and Nikon ones. These brands are the best and you should find something that will suit your needs and budget in them.
Keep in mind though that you will need to "process" your images in a software program to really get the most out of them. But that is another story ;-D .
1 You might do better with one of the super-zoom digitals like the Canon Powershot SX10. A DSLR is useful if you want to use multiple lenses, or if you shoot in very low light, but the really nice, professional rigs are out of most consumers' price range, and the inbetweens are too much camera for many users. If you are still intent on an SLR, consider one of the Canon EOS models.
They are better rated than the Nikon series, although get the Nikon if you already have any specialty lenses. All DSLRs take superb pictures.

JanEI replied to post #1: 2 I'll check out the coupons and will add the Canon PwrShot SX10 to my list and wait for the next "DEAL". I have a Kodak Z710 I've used a couple of years taking party pics in fairly low light; Canon would be an improvement. I love my faithful old Pentax ME Super, but now am so spoiled with size and convenience of digital.
Thank you! .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
