He's not so "dumb"...he got you to sign a contract... Looks like the dumb one is YOU. If you think he doesn't know what he teaching or that what he is teaching doesn't work then fight him for real and see who knows what... Be wiser than you are being now and have been in the past. Never sign a contract.
Perhaps the idiot is the one who signed a contract (no legitmate martial arts schools has contracts...) and the one who is calling names from behind the safety of his keyboard.... It is sincerly wished that you were here to say such in person, but we all know what would happen then, don't we? Good day.
I agree good dojos don't need long term contracts. But you can't do anything about that now. What you can do is meet your contractual obligation, come to class, learn all you can and leave.
Don't try to be buddies with him, don't rock the boat. Instead be respectful and learn all you can martial arts wise and others.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
