It would be easier to come up with invitation ideas if you already had a theme picked. Here are some themes that I think would be fun: beach/luau party -beach themed invites would be really fun and easy to make. You could use real sand on the page.
A neat technique is to use stickers to spell words on sand coloured paper, then glue real sand all around the letters. When you remove the letters it looks like you have wrote your message in the sand. You could do that on the bottom, then have a palm tree or whatever on the upper part of the paper.
Rockstar party, ask everyone to dress up and play rockband or do karoake. Make guitar shaped invites or backstage VIP pass invites. Once you decide on your theme, let me know and I can give you more ideas for invites.
I think the answers so far are pretty good. Hmm, other ideas... If you have a few ideas, you could google them. Like, if you want to have an idea about beach stuff, you could google "beach themed invitation ideas", and you'd get some pretty good stuff.
Have fun, ~Sarah.
I can tell you that for my daughters 16th I built a sandbox outside and did a tiki beach theme. She was allowed to invite 16 friends. I then reserved laser tag for a few hours so they could all have fun with nobody but friends.
The biggest deal was I gave each of them a disposable camera to do with what they wanted and developed the film the next day that was the best part. Oh yeah and most of the spent the night. Funny stuff.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
