I'm sorry - in the message from Maria I said popups are on - and that I can (I can't get the toolbar right)?

I'm sorry - in the message from Maria I said popups are on - and that I can (I can't get the toolbar right) I screwed up my question - I want the explorer toolbar on with all the icons - can't seem to get it. I have the yahoo toolbar on which I don't want. I have been having so many problems with my computer (internet wise) and want to get down to basics.

Also, I keep making popups as off and they are still on and interfering with everything. And I can't print from the toolbar. What a mess.Help.

Maria, Suggest a couple things: I am assuming Internet Explorer. First, go to View, then ToolbarsYou can now check, or uncheck all the toolbars you want Uncheck The Yahoo... Check all the others. Who know, some spyware might have installed on your systemSo you might see a half-dozen others.

If there are, write 'em down. After you do that, close Internet Explorer. Now, let's uninstall the Yahoo Tool bar.

Now, if you're in Vista, these directions might be slightly different. Click Start, then Control Panel, then add or remove programs. Find the Yahoo!

Tool bar on the list, then remove it. If you saw some other random ones when you were unchecking and checking the toolbars, you can consider unchecking those now. Restart your PC.

See how it works now - go back into IE and make sure the Pop-up blocker is on. Personally, I think the one in IE misses way too many, but it works OK. If you're still getting Pop-ups, disconnect from the Internet (uplug your network connection or phone cable) and surf your history a little - see if you STILL get pop-ups.

If you do, you have very likely got a spyware program running and need to run adaware (search google for that) or Spybot (search google for that - or prefereably BOTH - and kill those programs running in the background. Good luck - PM me if you want for more help. Sources: My answer .

Try this... right click on the Tool Bar and choose "Use Large Icons. " In addition, right click on the Tool Bar, go to Customize Command Bar and "Show All text Labels. " The Yahoo tool bar might have a built in pop-up blocker.

You might try uninstalling it from Control Panel, Add/Remove programs. Please post your other issues to the Discussion Board and I will be glad to help.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
