I can't remember the exact quote, but John Adams was once quoted saying that he fears the allegiance to political parties is starting to overcome the allegiance to justice and freedom. He said that if he has to vote outside of his party and be hated for it or vote for his party but be hated by himself, he would rather vote outside his party. Also, Thomas Jefferson once said "dissension is the greatest form of patriotism."
Those are the ideologies I follow. I'm not into the propaganda system like most people are. What the person in front of me said is cool, too.
The libertarian party is the closest you can get to thinking for yourself. From what I've seen, libertarians accept open debate and there is no one set of guidelines for every issue. Plus, libertarians aren't bought and paid for like some other parties we know.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
