Have a bunch of files in my backup location that have names like "srcandsvn - 2006.10.10-08.47.16.563. BackXX" that represent failed back-ups. Some of them are zero KB, some of them are actually pretty big.

Their file type is "Incomplete Backup Package. " Can I just remove these? Does Backup actually ever try to use them on a restore?

Yes. Yes, you can safely delete them. They are just what you say, incomplete files, so no use for it at all.

IBackup stores all your files on their servers, so yes, it's safe to delete the incomplete backup packages. Searching the internet found no complaints about iBackup (as there would be if deleting extraneous files would cause a problem), and searching through tech forums and the iBackup site showed no problems (or even information) regarding incomplete backup packages or your file extension. Most likely you are simply seeing log files detailing why the backup was incomplete.

If you have many of the incomplete files, I would call iBackup customer service at 1-800-949-3555 to ensure that your settings aren't incorrect, as my research shows that few people have that problem. Sources: ibackup.com .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
