Talk to your high school chemistry teacher, he or she will know where to get sodium and probably has some of it in the lab storage cabinet and just might show you the reaction if you talk very nicely to them. They can also show you safe chemical handling practices. It is never ever a good idea to inhale the fumes coming from any chemical reaction.
Truly I have no idea what you are writing about, but this place might. zyra.org.uk/sodium.htm Chemical supply houses sell such stuff. But you may need a pyrotechnics license!(just kidding) I can't ask my relative the Physics Master what he thinks, right now, because he's eating dinner...... be careful!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
