Well, we know that horses are maimed or killed in the Grand National and the RSPCA are present on the day. One can often see fear in the eyes of a horse when filming a close melee battle scene and I am sure that some horses are injured or die to just to please some Hollywood mogul no matter what the various animal welfare groups may say. So I for one am not convinced by the "no animals were hurt" message in the film credits.
The owners and trainers are paid well, and a few animals one way or the other, makes no difference. The executives don't care, as long as the film makes money. Same for the actors, and people on the set.
Who's going to dispute it, and how? Anybody got proof? Dead animals, with forensic evidence, etc? Witnesses are easy to discredit.
Just look how easy it was to find some bimbo's to say that Jullian Assange raped them. Look at how one of our national heroes, Edward Snowden, is being treated now. Do you think you would fare any better, against the huge Hollywood studios?
A couple of beloved movie stars, do a sound-byte against you, and you will be lucky to get away without being lynched!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
