In the ER, ten days ago, I was told I had a fractured ankle & sprained ligament. My specialist said I can't have both. He said that when a fracture happens in the ankle, it means the trauma bypassed the ligament.
This just doesn't seem right to me. He is an experienced orthopedic surgeon, but I don't trust him. He also took an x-ray with my cast on.
I had not taken my x-rays from the ER to the specialist visit because I didn't know it was my responsibility. He refused to take off the cast and x-rayed my ankle with this thick heavy cast on. You need another doctor. While the x-ray will scan fine through a cast, he statement about a fracture bypassing the ligament does not sound right, to me.
It was the most frustrating visit that I had with a doctor in my life. And this is my 2nd foot injury in 3 months. In addition, both the ER doctors and my 1st podiatrist suggested that I take a bone density test, just to make sure nothing is wrong with my bones.
I am 33 years old and it would be unusual, but just to make sure. I spent like 5 minutes with this doctor and he like wrote the idea off just because I look healthy or am young. Cat78 3 months ago .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
