In the National Football League what team had the original fearsome foursome, and who were they?

The Pittsburgh Steelers line known as "The Steel Curtain" is also one of the best of all time. They could be named a "Fearsome Foursome" as well. LC Greenwood was a 6 time Pro Bowl player, spent his entire career with the Steelers from 1969 to 1981.

Hall of Famer "Mean Joe" Joe Greene was a 10 time Pro Bowl players and 5 time First Team All Pro, who played his entire career from 1969 to 1981 at left defensive takcle beside Greenwood, who played defensive end. The rest of the line was anchored by Steve Furness, who played from 1972 to 1980 and Ernie Holmes who played with the Steelers from 1972 to 1977. The Steelers won division championships in 1972, 1974 through 1977 with that line and the Super Bowl in 1974, 1975 and 1978.

They also won another in 1979 without Holmes on the roster. Was the line itself as great as the Purple People Eaters or The Fearsome Foursome? I know Green and Greenwood were and considering the Steelers won 4 Super Bowls with them ranks that line up there with the best in history of the NFL.
