In the upper right hand corner of a hub, what goes best there. The large Google ad or a picture?

I feel that a well chosen photo with a filled out caption is better. Not only because it will bring you more traffic, but also because it's more appealing to readers. =).

That spot is the prime real estate for ads - it is where the ad will be seen the most and likely where the ad with the most clicks will be located.

If you don't care about income then that spot is probably preferable for a photo - again it is a top visibility spot and could add a lot to a hub if a pertinent photo was placed there.

I'd go with a picture. Spam sites typically have the 250x250 link ad embedded into a post either there or on the left so I think it really turns off viewers when they land on your page.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
