In your opinion, is it permissible for Christians to drink, smoke, gamble, and indulge in other "worldly" activities?

This is my opinion, Everyone has there own set of standards of right and wrong, being dictated by there beliefs. If you do not think it is wrong to have a couple of drinks or spend a couple of dollars then it isn't. If you do, then it is for your set of beliefs.

Everything you have experienced and learned in this life guides your beliefs and helps mold the right and wrong, so the answer to the question is in the asker. My basis for this answer is that a newborn infant has only two fears, Falling and loud noises everything else you fear you have learned. As far as Religion or belief in a higher power ( God ), stating scripture, there are still Wars being fought in the world today over this, so I think using a specific Religion to answer would open a door I do not want to open.

I have my Religion and I respect the Rights of others to believe the way they want too. I hope this helps.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
