I am not a Sachin fan,but to say Dravid is better is more than an overstatement. Sachin is the most successful ever Indian batsman & he is right up there with the likes of Lara,Sobers, Ponting & co. To write him off is foolish at best.
All those players you hv named dravid, kumble, n all are true match winners, no doubt but sachin still is a class ahead of them. Proof: 1. 2003 world cup sachin gt big score every game almost, except finals.
India seemed one man army in s.africa. 2. Mumbai indians have been lookin a one man batting army in ipl3....sachin didn't play last t20 ....n dey lost! 3.In his debut series in England, Tendulkar all of 17 years and 112 days scored a Test century at Old Trafford.
The century knock staved off English efforts for a victory in the Test. At 186-6 India awaited yet another Test loss away from home, but Sachin had plans of his own. In rear-guard action that would have made the original 'little master' Sunil Gavaskar proud, the teenager pulled his team towards the safer shores of a draw.
Sachin finished with an unbeaten knock of 119 runs. This was Sachin's first century and the beginning of many more. Dravid is a legend no doubt.
Dravid is my fav. Player, because of his fluency but SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR stands out! You existed in the 90s then you must have heard a saying Sachin clicked, India clicked.
Not only Indians, even visitng team used to say that Sachin was the key. It was a routine thing where Sachin would score and India reached a target of 250+ and India failed if he failed. It was only in the start of 2000 that players like Sehwag, Yuvraj and others emerged and stole the limelight.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
