So after a great deal of research, experimentation and soul searching. We eventually tracked this issue down to a third party library we were using to connect to an external system. Which upon initialization would add itself as a security provider ahead of the JSSE default provider.
I don't know exactly why this then went on to break all subsequent SSL connections... but it did.
From what I understand, you have the problems intermittent. That is you can connect to AD via SSL but occasionally you notice this error. So I guess certificate issues Error LDAPS are not your problem.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
