Is anyone else having trouble 'forwarding' a question to an Askville friend?

I tried a few times this morning...and just tried again a couple of minutes ago. It just says 'error on page'. I click on 'forward to friend'...the box comes up, I select a friend...but the box stays frozen in position...so I can't send.

Nope! Check your messages--I just forwarded you this question to test it out! It seems to work fine for me.

I am using Firefox, if that makes any difference. Now, my question is, where is this Askville spell check button? I sure don't see anything for it!.

Try this I have forwarded many questions to my friends and it always works for me. Try a few things, make sure that cookies are enabled. Add askville.com to your browsers safe list.

Make sure popup blocker is disabled. Maybe that will help.

I did earlier, but seems fine now. It seems that I can forward to some people, but when I try to a .... few friends of mine, I have to go in, refresh and go out again. I also noticed if you try to clean your browser cookies or anything to do with cleanups, it causes you to loose your Askville connection.

I would say it's best to get totally out of the internet, then try run Ccleaner, then try again. Ccleaner can be downloaded HERE. Sometimes I think, besides being between updates, Askville has problems dealing with cookies.

Hope this helps Helen.

1 I think they had some general problems this morning. I found it hard to surf the site in the morning and then again in late afternoon .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
