Don't confuse denial with opposing finger pointing. North American Liberals (such as the Great Al Gore) try to profit from playing the blame game. And they have successfully elevated themselves to an almost religious reverence, where any opposition is seen as heresy.
If you believe that global warming is solely the responsibility of human intervention, then please explain how the last 10 ice ages occurred and ended, thousands of years before humanity even walked the earth! Conservatives are actually trying to find balanced ways to deal with the problems of the world - standing on a soapbox and yelling that Exxon is destroying the world doesn't solve anything. Neither does destroying downtown Toronto 'in protest' over the existence of a G8/G20 summit.
Frankly, I'll put my money on those who think through problems, rather than those who have knee jerk reactions and support criminal activity.
Global warming if just a natural part of climate change. It is a natural process, I don't think you'll find any intelligent person that denies it. What is debatable however, is the degree of influence that human actions such as carbon emissions have upon it.
It could be a little, it could be a lot. The only thing for sure is that it was going to happen whether humans existed or not.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
