Not at all. Maybe you have an anti-virus or IP blocking software blocking the Amazon site from being accessed. Try disabling them.

Or it could just be that Amazon is foregoing maintenance in your area. These companies usually have a data center in which controls their business through a computer, and each area is controlled by tiers. They probably disabled the tiers for your area.

Try calling them and check if they are foregoing maintenance in your area or maybe the network is down.

I'm thinking that may be what's going on. I'm a pretty regular shopper and have never received the 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage' message from amazon.com - Checked recent updates also. No problem with any other websites.

Google Chrome doesn't like it either. I had to add Firefox just so I could access Amazon. You'll probably have to do the same.

Yes, I found that to be true after I couldn't get by the first page Google allowed entry to in Amazon. I too had to download Firefox, and that seems to have done the trick, allowing me Amazon access as before, no problem. Thank you for responding!

You'd think that with all the technology at their fingertips these companies would be able to do something about it, but alas, such is not the case! Amazon should bill Google for the sales they lost from when I couldn't access the site! Actually, I think I like Firefox better than Chrome and IE anyway.At least now it's possible to get around the Amazon site with no trouble.

I find that Amazon works best with Firefox 8.0. My Internet Explorer just doesn't like the site for some reason.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
