Although we humans use anise to flavour candy, tea, and absinthe, man’s best friend also finds the anise herb appealing. - and sew around the pattern line, leaving a hole for you to stuff the toy. Trim off the excess fabric so that you are left with the shape you desire, and then turn the fabric inside out. No. I know this is a short answer, but no, we had two dogs who would occasionally check out and ingest the catnip I gave our cats and they were fine. Plus I checked with the vet and they said it was fine.

The only problem is if there is a lot of dry catnip and they inhale it, it might make them sneeze and they will probably want some water to wash down the dry catnip, if they try to eat it.
