Yes, Dead Rising is a survival game in much the same vein as Left 4 Dead and Resident Evil. However, while those games require you to continuously progress through a map to push the story forward, Dead Rising is more of a sandbox-type of game, giving you free rein to roam throughout the in-game world, provided that you survive. In fact, the game's main objective is simply to survive for 72 in-game hours (6 hours in real life).

Taking on quests and interacting with other characters in the game is almost entirely optional. That said, you only control one character throughout the entire game. As you kill more zombies and complete quests, you gain experience points that let you upgrade your characters offensive and defensive capabilities.

The "horror" aspect of the game comes from its story/premise: The zombie apocalypse has come upon the world, and you must survive a world infested by these creatures until you can be safely evacuated. Thus, the post-apocalyptic feel paired with the gory visuals associated with zombies come together to create an atmosphere that is designed to be scary.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
