Is it alright to feed yogurt to little dogs? in this case, pinkberry to a maltese?

It's not a very good idea to feed your dog dairy. Many dogs are lactose intolerant. But if your dog isn't lactose intolerant, I'd give it plain yogurt.

Fruit yogurt contains too much sugar and dogs are intolerant to certain fruits (in fact some can kill them. ) Some people feed yogurt to their dogs to help with digestion but that would only help if your dog isn't one of the many adult dogs with lactose intolerance.

I have a small dog, as well, and my vet once recommended that I feed her plain yogurt to help with some digestive issues. He advised me to avoid flavored yogurt because they contain too much sugar. I am sure just a little would be fine, but don't overdo it.

You have to be careful on amounts and ingredients. Dogs can't have chocolate, although chocolate yogurt has so little it might be ok for a very large dog, but you don't want them getting that taste! And some are extremely sensitive to it.

And sugar content: sugar can cause diarrhea, so giving your dog yogurt could, uh, backfire. Stick to plain, and it may even help your pet's health. But keep it infrequent until you check with your vet.

Check that the yoghurt isn't sweetened with grape juice. Grapes (and raisins etc) are bad for dogs and can lead to renal failure.

We used to mix yogurt in some of our dog food. However, they can be lactose intolerant so you need to do so sparingly.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
