Is it ilegal for a 40 year old to mary a 19 year old?

You're an adult so you can make your own decisions, if you were 16 it would be another story. If the feelings are mutual then go for it. However, he is probably looking to settle down.

He has already been married and has children so he's most likely looking for commitment. Then again he might just be looking for something short term/purely physical and will not take you seriously because you're so young. I know many older men who would jump for the chance to sleep with a 19 year old but would never settle down with her.

If you really want to pursue a relationship with him then you need to find out what he is looking for.

First off. I'd say this age difference is quite large. But I'd also say that you should never deny your heart of something that makes it happy.

But I'd also like to point out how much trashing your going to have to take if you do begin a relationship with him.
